The future:
Well, frankly, I don't really spend much time thinking about
the future. At this point, I'd be ecstatic to pay a morgage
for the rest of my life instead of paying a landlord. I am
currently doing Quantum Computing, as I see a great deal of
potential in the field and I am hoping I can familiarise
myself with some of the more practical concepts and
technologies around Quantum Computing. I don't expect to
find myself as a researcher in the Quantum computing field,
as I feel much more attuned to the world of code and
circuits than I do the much more abstract field of
mathematics.
I hope I do end up with the resources to explore some of the
other aspects of technology that I enjoy working on. I'd
like to have more projects to work on with my 3D printer,
such as home improvement / automation type systems, but that
requires not living in a landlord owned apartment where they
command strip on a wall. I also like tinkering with circuits
and microcontrollers. While I am not very good at circuitry
(or soldering) I have made a few small projects with
Arduinos and rpis in the past and I hope I find more
opportunities to do so.
